William H. Jennings, MD, FACP

Dr. Jennings is a native of Hutchinson, and has lifelong ties to the Pratt area. He is a graduate of the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine, and completed an Internal Medicine residency and Hematology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Jennings is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the subspecialty Boards in Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. His additional areas of professional interest include bleeding and clotting disorders, medical ethics, and palliative care.

Dr. Jennings was in the private practice of Hematology and Oncology in Greeley, Colorado from 1976 to 1988. Since 1988, he has been a member of the faculty at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he is co-director of the Med-west Hemophilia Center in Kansas City, and Chairman was the Ethics Committee at Truman Medical Center from 1997 – 2011. He has been in practice at Pratt Regional Medical Center since 1997 and joined the Cancer Center of Kansas group in 2002. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the International Society of Hematology.
